'Sheds on Charlotte' to be transformed
Holladay Properties and broker Ronnie Wenzler have announced plans to transform “The Sheds on Charlotte,” a 1940s-era row of corrugated metal sheds into a office/retail complex.
The project at 2200 Charlotte Avenue will transform a 1940s-era row of corrugated metal sheds into a light-filled office/retail complex with courtyards. Renovation work is slated to begin later this year.
Extending an entire city block, from 22nd to 23rd avenues, th development will be composed of three buildings connected by two courtyards. Containing a total of 42,750 square feet, the complex includes a couple of two-story buildings containing 17,680 square feet each and a one-story building of 7,400 square feet. The two-story buildings will be connected by a bridge at the second floor level.
Holliday Properties foresees a mix of office and retail tenants, with the possibility of offices on the second floor and retail on the first floor.
Seab Tuck of Tuck-Hinton Architects is the architect for the project.
