Tennessee governor's mansion to be featured on HGTV
NASHVILLE (AP) — HGTV will be filming the unveiling of a kitchen renovation and a cutting garden at the mansion of Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam.
First lady Crissy Haslam will show off the new features of the executive residence to a film crew on Thursday. The work includes a build-out of the kitchen and a garden to promote local agriculture and farm-to-table sustainability.
The kitchen and garden renovation launches the second phase of a project to renovate and restore the executive residence and its grounds. HGTV will interview Crissy Haslam, Chef Stephen Ward and landscape architect Ben Page.
The garden will be featured in an upcoming special to be aired on HGTV in May.
