Wine Women & Shoes
The national charitable event series debuts in Nashville at Grand Avenue, 1-5 p.m. The event, a fund raiser to benefit the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee, features wine tastings, live and silent auctions and a walk-around boutique Marketplace featuring local and national trendsetters. Zoo Run Run
Runners and walkers will embark on a 5K course through Nashville Zoo’s 188-acre property past favorite habitats, like the African Savannah and Flamingo Lagoon, and on roads and trails not normally seen by the public. Proceeds help fund Zoo operations, from education programs for children to feeding more than 2,100 animals. Information and registration: nashvillezoo.org.
