Seigenthaler PR names new partners

Seigenthaler Public Relations, Inc., with offices in Nashville, New York and Chicago, has named Nicole L. Cottrill, Virginia K. “Ginger” Johnson and Ryan J. Witherell as new partners. All had previously been vice presidents with the agency.

Cottrill, most recently vice president of client services and business development, develops and directs strategic communications plans and media relations programs on behalf of SPR’s clients with focus on health care and science.

Prior to joining SPR in 2006, Cottrill was a vice president at Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications in Boston, where she managed the firm’s science, technology and health care practice.

Previously senior vice president of business services, Johnson, joined SPR in 1998. In her role, she has directed all financial, human resource, administration, facility and equipment systems for SPR in a manner that has supported the firm’s growth.

Witherell, formerly vice president of client services and new media, provides strategic communications, marketing and branding counsel to corporate clients across a variety of industries including technology, environment, real estate development, health care, financial services, law and consumer products. Witherell, who joined SPR in 2002, specializes in planning and executing integrated communications campaigns that include branding, media relations and social media. He also leads SPR’s new media team.

Brown is president of Leadership Board

The American Cancer Society has named Chris Brown as president of the American Cancer Society Leadership Board in Nashville.

Brown is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society, serving on committees for both Relay For Life of Williamson County, The Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge and the Golf Tournament of Nashville. Brown has also served on the Leadership Board for three years.

He is a private client financial advisor and wealth manager at Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC.

Ingram taps Hayes as VP, risk management

Ingram Industries has promoted John Hayes to vice president, risk management for Ingram. Hayes will oversee global risk management for Ingram, reporting to Bill Morelli, executive vice president and general counsel.

Hayes earned his bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Memphis and his master’s degree in Business Administration from Belmont University. He serves on the board of the Tennessee Self-Insurers Association and is a member of the Cumberland Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and the Sennet Society of the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville.

ReviveHealth announces two staff promotions

ReviveHealth, a communication firm specializing in health services, health technology and healthy living, has promoted Elizabeth Musson, one of the firm’s original founders, to senior account supervisor. Lauren Salaun, the third employee hired at ReviveHealth, has been promoted to senior account executive.

Musson has eight years of experience in public health and communications on both the non-profit and agency side. Prior to ReviveHealth, she served as a project coordinator at a national PR firm.

Salaun joined ReviveHealth nearly three years ago with a background in advertising, graphic design, publicity and photography. She spent her first six months at ReviveHealth as an assistant account executive in health services, and more than one year on the corporate marketing & practice development team before taking on her current role. Prior to joining ReviveHealth, she held the position of account coordinator at The Shand Group, a luxury goods advertising agency.

Concept Technology hires field engineer

IT service provider Concept Technology, Inc. has hired David Dyer as a field engineer.

Dyer brings eight years of technical experience to Concept Technology. As an engineer, he will provide IT consulting, network maintenance and security, as well as help desk services to small and mid-sized businesses throughout Middle Tennessee.

Prior to Concept Technology, Dyer worked as an IT manager and system technician for White House Utility District in White House. He also previously worked as a GIS/IT technician for the City of Hendersonville.

Sherrard & Roe selects two as members

Attorneys Lisa Helton and Greg Pease have been named members of Sherrard & Roe, PLC.

Helton’s practice areas include estate and trust litigation, general and commercial litigation, landlord/tenant law, appellate practice, federal tax litigation, and representation of homeowners associations. She earned her J.D. magna cum laude, with a concentration in advocacy and dispute resolution, from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was Order of the Coif, president of UT Law Women and a member of the Tennessee Law Review. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Pease practices in the areas of general business and health care law. His experience extends across a wide range of industries including health care, manufacturing, electronic payment processing, business services, distribution and publishing. He earned his J.D. cum laude from the University of Memphis, where he was editor-in-chief of the University of Memphis Law Review and was one of two recipients of the Dean’s Distinguished Graduate Award for the Class of 2004. Prior to attending law school, Pease held management positions with Leggett & Platt, Inc., a Fortune 500 diversified manufacturing company. He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas and a B.A. in political science from the University of Georgia.

LBMC adds to Security and Risk Services roster

Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC), a regional accounting and business consulting firm, has added Cindy Chadwick in its Security and Risk Services Practice in the Brentwood office.

Chadwick will serve in a staff consultant position in the Security & Risk Services department, where she will be specializing in information security, risk assessment and risk mitigation. She is a graduate of Lewis University with a master’s degree in information security.

Advocat names VP, chief operating officer

Advocat Inc., a provider of long-term care services primarily in the Southeast and Southwest, has appointed Leslie Campbell as the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. In her new role, Campbell will assume responsibilities for the company’s operating activities, including direct oversight and management of all facets of facility operations leadership and significant components of corporate infrastructure.

Campbell brings extensive long-term care experience to the position, with more than 21 years in the industry, including 19 years with Golden Living, where she was senior vice president of operations.

3 employees promoted at Fifth Third Bank

Fifth Third Bank (Tennessee) has promoted the following employees to officer-level positions:

David Thomas has been promoted to financial center manager, leading the Glenbrook Banking Center in Hendersonville.

He was previously a personal banker at the Northlake Village Banking Center in Hermitage.

Rachel Willoughby has been promoted to financial center manager, leading the Donelson Banking Center in Nashville. She previously served as the customer service manager at the Donelson branch.

Stephanie Sanders has been promoted to marketing specialist, located at the affiliate’s downtown headquarters in Fifth Third Center. She previously served as retail executive assistant.

Castor, Mundie join The Buffkin Group

The Buffkin Group, a national search firm, has hired Meghan Castor and Lillie Mundie as an associate and a junior associate, respectively.

Prior to joining The Buffkin Group, Castor served as a project coordinator at Canopy Construction, LLC, where she was responsible for managing customer service, assisting in filing claims, organizing customer meetings and more.

In her new position at The Buffkin Group, Castor will assist the partners with the process details of their searches, including handling encore data entry and updates during searches, performing research and candidate development.

Mundie most recently served as a keyholder at Therapy Systems, Inc., where she was responsible for writing product descriptions, developing promotions, sales processing and documentation.

As junior associate, Mundie will be responsible for assisting with daily search activities and public relations outreach, including coordinating appointments and travel arrangements, assisting partners in client presentations, and maintaining search files and client mailing lists.

Graves, Hardcastle join Pinnacle Financial

Wendy Graves and Robin Hardcastle have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as service specialists in Murfreesboro.

Graves brings more than seven years of experience to her role at Pinnacle’s Memorial Boulevard office.

She comes from SunTrust Bank, where she was a customer service specialist. Before SunTrust, Graves served as a senior teller for AmSouth Bank.

Hardcastle joins Pinnacle’s College Street office. She brings 10 years of experience from Regions Bank, where she most recently served as a branch service leader.

Also, Cathleen Paluzi and Lacy Raiker have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as service specialists.

They are based at Pinnacle’s Hwy. 70 office in Mt. Juliet.
