NASHVILLE (AP) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is planning four public meetings this month in Tennessee and Kentucky.

The meetings will give the public a chance to respond to plans to restrict access to hazardous waters adjacent to Corps locks and dams on the Cumberland River and its tributaries.

The first meeting is set for Jan. 10 in Grand Rivers, Ky.; the second is to be held on Jan. 15 in Nashville, Tenn.; the third on Jan. 17 in Baxter, Tenn.; and the final one is scheduled for Jan. 24 in Somerset, Ky.
