NASHVILLE (AP) — The flag of the United States is flying at half-staff over Tennessee government buildings and installations.
Gov. Bill Haslam ordered the flags lowered to honor former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter, in accordance with a proclamation by President Barack Obama.
The flags in Tennessee were lowered to half-staff at sunset Monday and will be raised again at sunset Tuesday.
