NASHVILLE (AP) — Anyone interested in entrepreneurship may want to visit Belmont University's campus on Wednesday.

The university's Center for Entrepreneurship is sponsoring the campus' first-ever Entrepreneurship Village from 10 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. outside in the amphitheater surrounding the Belmont Bell Tower.

According to campus officials, 42 businesses are expected to participate and discuss their business ideas, experiences with their ventures and how they forecast business growth during a difficult economic time. A wide range of industries are also expected to be represented.

Belmont's Center for Entrepreneurship is a Top 20 nationally ranked program by Princeton Review.

It was recently named the top program nationwide for teaching and pedagogical innovation by the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers.
