Lebanon newspaper shortens publication schedule
LEBANON (AP) - The publisher of The Lebanon Democrat (http://bit.ly/QhZNol) says the newspaper is changing its print publication schedule to five days a week.
Publisher and President Joseph H. Adams said in a story published Monday that the paper will no longer publish in print on Mondays beginning next week. He and Director of Content Jared Elkins announced that changes are being made to beef up online services through the newspaper website, Facebook page and Twitter feed, which will operate 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
The executives said the Saturday print edition is being changed to incorporate a weekend format.
