Little Big Town to record anti-child hunger video
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — The county band Little Big Town is teaming up with ConAgra Foods in its campaign against child hunger.
Little Big Town plans to record an online video of the song "Here's Hope" to promote awareness of child hunger. The band performed a version of the song at this year's American Country Music Awards.
The song was written for the Child Hunger Ends Here campaign.
ConAgra's Chris Sinta says the bands' passion about the issue is clear.
Little Big Town's Phillip Sweet says he grew up in a single-parent home with five siblings, and he experienced not knowing where his next meal would come from.
Previously, Jewel, Jay Sean and other bands have recorded versions of the "Here's Hope" song.
