Components maker expanding in Mount Juliet

MOUNT JULIET (AP) — A manufacturer of custom metal-formed components is expanding operations in Wilson County.

Genessee A&B and Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty announced the $2.1 million expansion of the company's plant in Mount Juliet will create 34 additional manufacturing jobs.

A company spokesman said the hiring has begun and will continue over the next 12 months.

The company has another plant in Grand Prairie, Texas, and makes components for original equipment manufacturers in the office machine, telecommunications, electronics, computer, medical, security hardware, automotive and transportation, HVAC and aircraft industries.
