Natural gas line erupts in Nashville, no injuries
NASHVILLE (AP) - A few hundred Nashville residents were told to leave their homes after a natural gas line ruptured in a neighborhood.
Police and fire officials were allowing people to return home before dawn Thursday in the Bordeaux area of the city.
WSMV-TV( http://bit.ly/Osd6Ba ) reported the eruption occurred near a YMCA and caused minor damage to nearby businesses from flying debris. There were no injuries.
The gas main is owned by Piedmont Natural Gas.
