16th annual Avant-Garage Sale
The Arts Company on 5th Avenue of the Arts presents its annual garage sale, one of the gallery’s most popular annual traditions since its inception. This year’s milestone event showcases a broad diversity of gallery furniture and props and original art, some from private collections, presented in an atmosphere of surprise and affordable art. First Saturday Art Crawl
The monthly visual arts event is presented by 5th Avenue of the Arts and takes place in that historic entertainment district of downtown Nashville. On the first Saturday of every month, 6 p.m.-9 p.m., an alliance of art galleries and museums collectively invite the public to explore the vibrant Nashville downtown art scene. Solar Tour and Energy Efficiency Workshop
Hosted by LightWave Solar and E3 INNOVATE, the event will include a tour of a solar PV system and an overview of effective efficiency measures that help make homes more comfortable, healthy and less expensive to heat and cool. Baselines and Grapevines fundraiser
Nashville RBI, which provides inner-city youth the opportunity to participate in free baseball and softball leagues, as well as wellness and academic programs, will host its seventh annual wine tasting fundraiser at Cabana Restaurant in Hillsboro Village, 6 to 9 p.m. The event also will feature a silent auction and live music. Home-Staging Professional Course
Students can earn the ASP designation by attending this two-day course. Topics covered include improving your listing presentation, overcoming client objections to staging, marketing ideas and a staging techniques detailed lecture.
