Print | Front Page | Email this story

ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE (AP) — The lead contractor at Arnold Air Force Base near Tullahoma has asked for a voluntary reduction in force.

Aerospace Testing Alliance, the contractor, employs 1,850. ATA general manager Steve Pearson says it is too early to know if layoffs will be needed later this year.

He said the base workload and staffing requirements in the next month or so will help determine employment levels.
