Nashville Emerging Leader Awards. The sixth annual NELAs will recognize young professionals in 15 industry classifications who are excelling in their careers and making a difference in the Nashville community. The ceremony will be at tonight, 5-7:30 p.m., Lipscomb University in the Collins Alumni Auditorium. After-party will be at Mere Bulles, 5201 Maryland Way, Brentwood. Summer Career Fair
The Nashville Campus of National College of Business & Technology, 1638 Bell Road, will host a summer career fair, 9-1 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Participating employers include Metro Public Schools, eTransX, Inc., The Resource Group (TRG), UPS, and Windsor Health Plan. An informal social networking event and tour of MTSU’s new state-of-the art Jeff Hendrix Stadium Club. Lightning and the MTSU Cheerleaders will be on hand to welcome you! Admission is $5 for Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce members, $15 for non-members.

Battle of Franklin Trust 2012 Summer Concert Series
The Battle of Franklin Trust, which manages The Carter House and Carnton Plantation, will host a three-part concert series at Carnton, 1345 Carnton Lane, Franklin, presented by BancorpSouth. Advance tickets will be available at The Carter House, Carnton Plantation and BancorpSouth in Franklin, 914 Murfreesboro Road. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12. General admission at the gate for adults is $12, children 6 to 12 are $5 and children 5 and under are free.
- Sunday, July 29: South Street Players will perform songs made famous in the 1970s.
- August 26: Greez Monkeez will play hits made famous in the 1980s.
All concerts are 6 p.m.-8 p.m. with gates opening at 4:30 pm. Patrons are also encouraged to bring lounging items such as chairs or blankets. Information: battleoffranklintrust.org.

Interactive Media Meet-up
