New terminal opens at Clarksville airport
CLARKSVILLE (AP) — A new terminal has opened at Clarksville's Outlaw Field Airport that city officials hope will draw in more corporate fliers.
The Leaf-Chronicle (http://leafne.ws/MiZWDY) reports Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers and others celebrated the new terminal during a ceremony on Monday.
Airport Director John Patterson said 25 percent of the airport's traffic is corporate flights coming in and out of Clarksville that account for 75 percent of the airport fuel purchases.
The terminal features a meeting room and a multimedia conference room, and other spaces in the building will be available for lease. Patterson said he is fielding interest in the terminal space for flights schools and a car rental company.
