Knoxville attorney to head justice group
NASHVILLE (AP) — A Knoxville attorney has been elected president of the Tennessee Association for Justice.
Bryan Capps succeeds Keith Williams of Lebanon. Bryan Smith of Memphis advances to president-elect.
Capps' practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, workers' compensation and business torts.
Elected vice presidents were Eric Buchanan of Chattanooga, Jon Peeler of Nashville and Thomas Greer of Memphis.
The association advocates for accountability, citizen rights and protection of the civil justice system.
