Belmont students to join music tour for a grade
NASHVILLE (AP) - Ten Belmont University music industry students will get hands-on experience in June when they leave Nashville and go on the road for behind-the-scenes work with the "Happy Together Tour."
The juniors and seniors will work a dozen shows on the tour, which includes the Turtles; Gary Puckett & The Union Gap; the Grass Roots; the Buckinghams and others.
The students will be involved in tour management, stage management, audio engineering, tour accounting and merchandise sales. They will be graded.
Among the shows is a June 10 performance in Chattanooga at the Riverbend Festival.
