NASHVILLE (AP) - Video streaming of the Tennessee Legislative Session will now be available on mobile devices.

The House and Senate clerks say that proceedings can now be watched on both Apple and Android phones and tablets, and that the Legislature has also begun the process of converting more than 2,800 files in the video archives.

It is expected to take about three weeks to complete the conversion process.

The clerks also announced that the State Building Commission has agreed to allow free public Wi-Fi to be installed in the entire Capitol as part of a maintenance project this summer.

Internet access is already available in the underground legislative office complex and in the lobby outside the House and Senate chambers.

The legislative session begins Tuesday.
