Former Nashville agency attorney indicted
NASHVILLE (AP) — A former attorney for a Nashville government agency has been indicted on a felony theft charge.
Bobby Dean Davis told The Tennessean he denies depriving the Metro Industrial Development Board of anything, but said he made a mistake in the handling of the agency's funds (http://tnne.ws/tlpqKS).
At issue is a controversy three years ago involving more than $150,000 in missing board money.
Davis is charged with theft of property over $60,000.
He was disbarred by the Tennessee Supreme Court in August.
