Former attorney general to join Nashville law firm
NASHVILLE (AP) — Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales is joining a Nashville law firm.
Gonzales will work in government relations, government investigations and white-collar defense teams for Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis. He also will be involved in diversity initiatives.
The announcement Wednesday came two days after it was announced that Gonzales will join the Belmont University School of Law faculty in Nashville. He has already moved to Nashville.
Gonzales was attorney general from 2005 to 2007 under President George W. Bush.
