Nissan's September sales rise 25.3%
FRANKLIN (AP) - Nissan North America Inc. said Monday that its September U.S. sales rose 25.3 percent on strong demand for both its cars and trucks.
BY THE NUMBERS: Nissan sold 92,964 vehicles in September, up from 74,205 in the same month last year.
TOP SELLER: Sales of the Altima sedan rose 21.7 percent to 24,356 from 20,016 in September 2010.
HOT MODELS: Demand for the Versa jumped 68.1 percent to 11,800, while sales of the Rogue crossover rose 29.1 percent to 10,740.
Combined truck sales increased rose 19.5 percent to 31,279 units, while sales at the company's luxury Infiniti division edged up 2.1 percent to 8,479.
