NASHVILLE (AP) - Rich Boyd, executive director of the Tennessee Arts Commission, is retiring effective next Jan. 31.

He's been with the commission for 28 years and executive director since 1999.

There will be a national search for a replacement, the commission said in a news release Thursday announcing Boyd's retirement.
