Weather Service: Hottest July in Nashville since 1993
NASHVILLE (AP) — July was the hottest seventh month in Nashville since 1993.
While not a record breaker, the month just ended was the fifth-hottest on record in the capital city.
National Weather Service forecaster Bobby Boyd says 27 days in July reached 90 degrees or above. In a normal July, Nashville will reach 90 degrees on 17 days.
Rainfall during the month totaled 3.36 inches, 0.31 inches below normal.
