FRANKLIN (AP) — Nissan North America Inc. said Monday that pricing for its redesigned 2012 Nissan Versa sedan will start at $10,990.

The basic version of the car will include air conditioning, a six-way adjustable driver's seat, an audio system with a radio, CD player and auxiliary port and a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine.

The sedan's combined fuel economy is estimated at 30 miles per gallon for the base model with a manual transmission, or 33 miles per gallon for higher-end versions with an advanced transmission. (backslash)
