MURFREESBORO (AP) — The experimental vehicles program at Middle Tennessee State University has been honored by the Tennessee Board of Regents.

The program, which consists of five design projects, recently received the Academic Excellence Award from the board.

Student teams design, develop and produce an experimental vehicle under faculty guidance.

Middle Tennessee State won the same award a year ago for a master of science in professional science program.
