Lipscomb Grad School Information Sessions for prospective graduate business students are scheduled for Thursday. Information sessions will be held for Lipscomb’s master of human resources, master of accountancy, master of business administration and professional master of business administration programs. The MBA/PMBA session and complimentary luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m., followed by the MAcc session at 4 p.m. and the MHR session at 5:30 p.m. Bennett Campus Center, Conference Suite 181. Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra

Run for the Homeless
The Key Alliance, the nonprofit fundraising arm of the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission, is holding its first Run for the Homeless at 8 a.m. Start and finish will be set up at the Hall of Fame Park in Downtown Nashville. Photo Tour of Belmont Mansion
Historical lecture series at the Buchanan Log House, 2910 Elm Hill Pike, continues with a photo journal tour of the opulent 1850 mansion and discuss the intriguing life of Adelicia Acklen with James C. Author Reception
Local songwriter and raconteur Thomas J. MAY 19-21
Franklin Rodeo
The event, celebrating its 62nd consecutive year, is the largest pro rodeo in the state and attracts nearly 400 cowboys and cowgirls for competition. Funds raised from the rodeo go to scholarships for Williamson County high school graduates. Money raised from the annual Tough Enough to Wear Pink night on May 21 go for breast cancer awareness and research at the Breast Health Center at the Williamson Medical Center. Shaker Collection at Frist
Gather Up the Fragments: The Andrews Shaker Collection, an exhibition featuring more than 200 objects, including furniture, drawings, household objects, textiles and baskets from one of the country’s most renowned Shaker collections, will be on view at the Frist Center’s for the Visual Arts.
