REED announces promotions, new hires

REED public relations and marketing agency has promoted Katherine Green and Tayhlor Blackwell from vice president to senior vice president positions. These promotions come two years after both individuals joined REED’s leadership team.

In addition, REED has promoted Tiffany Buchen from senior account manager to account supervisor.

The agency also is bolstering its content capabilities by establishing a content division and promoting Kate Shepherd to REED’s first senior content strategist.

REED also welcomed two new full-time individuals to the team. Emma Raby has joined as an account manager, and Gracie Hughes has joined as an account coordinator after completing an internship at the firm.

FirstBank welcomes senior vice president

FirstBank has hired Mac Alsup, who has 25 years of experience in the market, as senior vice president, commercial banking relationship manager.

Alsup has been a commercial relationship manager for the past 22 years and joins FirstBank after his most recent tenure at First Horizon Bank. He graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in business management and a minor in psychology. He grew up in South Carolina before moving to Middle Tennessee about 30 years ago.

Wealth Access selects chief revenue officer

Wealth Access, a provider of wealth data to help banks unlock growth, boost deposits and enhance digital banking service, has named industry veteran Drew DiMarino its chief revenue officer.

DiMarino, with almost 30 years of experience in financial services, will be responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating activities within Wealth Access to maximize growth while continuing to maintain profitability.

DiMarino joins Wealth Access having worked with many prominent companies in the financial and wealth industries, including Riskalyze, now Nitrogen Wealth, as chief growth officer. DiMarino also held executive positions at Apiture as executive vice president of sales and marketing and eMoney Advisor as executive vice president of sales.

Pierce Public Relations promotes Carlesimo

Pierce Public Relations, a leading B2B-focused public relations firm headquartered in Middle Tennessee, has promoted Bri Carlesimo to vice president of client experience, a newly created role.

Carlesimo, who joined Pierce PR in 2019, most recently served as a senior account manager. She will be responsible for refining client strategies and ensuring that every engagement exceeds expectations. She also will mentor and empower account teams.

Chiropractor honored by state association

Nashville’s Casey Bearden, DC, has been honored with the 2024 James R. Cole Heritage Award by the Tennessee Chiropractic Association, the state’s largest professional organization for chiropractors.

Bearden was chosen by his peers to receive this recognition, given to recognize the recipient’s career-long commitment benefiting their patients, profession and community.

Bearden attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After graduating with his doctor of chiropractic in 1993, he settled in Tennessee and in January 1994 opened Action Spine and Joint in West Nashville.

He furthered his training with a master’s certification in spinal biomechanical trauma.
