Here's what you need to know about this week's AmericanaFest and Americana Honors & Awards:
AmericanaFest 2024
Sept. 17-21
The 24th annual Americana Music Association conference brings together fans and industry pros alike, at more than 20 venues throughout Nashville. Five days of celebrating Americana music through seminars, panels and networking opportunities by day and showcases each night.
Two different AmericanaFest passes are still available: The Silver Pass (walk-up rate $549 plus sales tax) allows access to the daytime conference, priority admission to showcases and first dibs on RSVP events. The Festival Pass ($125 plus sales tax) gets you into all evening performances (depending on venue availability) and select special events.
Separately ticketed events available to the general public, including The Lone Bellow with the Nashville Symphony (Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Schermerhorn Symphony Center), two nights of the double bill of Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and My Morning Jacket (Wednesday, Sept. 18 and Thursday, Sept. 19 at Ascend Amphitheater) and Vance Joy (Friday, Sept. 20 at Ascend) are also available.

The annual Americana Music Association event honors distinguished members of the music community through six member-voted awards and several Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Announced performers include Blind Boys of Alabama, Brandy Clark with SistaStrings, Charles Wesley Godwin, Dave Alvin, Dwight Yoakam, Fantastic Negrito, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Jobi Riccio, Kaitlin Butts, Larkin Poe, The Milk Carton Kids, Noah Kahan, Sarah Jarosz, Shelby Lynne, Sierra Ferrell, Turnpike Troubadours, The War And Treaty, Waxahatchee with MJ Lenderman and Wyatt Flores.
