Let Freedom Sing: Nashville July 4th Fireworks and Concert. Celebrate the 4th of July at one of the largest fireworks shows in the county. Attendees can expect concert with headlining performance by Chris Young along with performance by YOLA, Girl Named Tom and Blessing Offor, and more, plus a pyrotechnic-synchronized performance by the Nashville Symphony. Admission is free and open to all ages. Information

July 4th Run for Hunger
This race will benefit The Well Outreach. Summit High School, 2830 Twin Lakes Drive, Spring Hill. 6 a.m. packet pickup, 7 a.m. timed 5K, 8 a.m. color foam run, 9 a.m. bicycle/ stroller parade (ages 10 and under with parent or guardian). Timed 5k fee adult $45, child $25, Color foam run fee adult $45, child $25, Sleep in option $30 with T-shirt, $25 no T-shirt. Bicycle/stroller, free. Information
18th annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival
It all kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with the fire truck parade. Visitors can enjoy Hot chicken from Nashville’s best hot chicken establishments, cold beer from Yazoo and other delicious edibles from local vendors. The free event is held in East Park, 700 Woodland St. Live music from local bands keeps the “Nashville” vibe going all day. All proceeds from the festival benefit Metro Parks & Recreation. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Rain or Shine event. Information
Watertown Independence Day Parade: Stars, Stripes and Squirt Guns
Parade begins at Round Lick Baptist Church, 745 West Main Street and ends at Jewel’s Market, East Main Street/Hwy 70. All entries must be received no later than July 1. Entry fee $25 except nonprofits, schools and churches. 3 p.m. Watertown Fireworks at dusk Three Forks Park. Bring lawn chair. Information

Gallatin 4th of July Festival
Presented by the City of Gallatin, Destination Gallatin, Gallatin Parks & Recreation and the Gallatin Fire Department. Enjoy a fun day celebrating the Fourth of July with a foam party provided by the Gallatin Fire Department, multiple food trucks and fireworks.
