Bridget A. Stewart is joining the business litigation service group at Stites & Harbison, PLLC.

Stewart’s practice focuses on general business and commercial litigation including product liability, professional liability and creditors’ rights matters.

She previously was a litigation attorney with a small Nashville law firm. She also worked as a disaster response attorney for Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest nonprofit law firm.

Stewart is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University Law School and earned a degree in French from the University of Tennessee.

Real estate lawyers group honors Bowles

Christopher A. Bowles, a partner in Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP’s Nashville office, has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

Founded in 1978, ACREL is a national association of preeminent commercial real estate lawyers focused on service to clients, colleagues and the profession. Admission is by invitation after a rigorous screening process that demonstrates the member’s outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

Bowles is an energy and economic development attorney who co-chairs Bradley’s solar energy team. He is a board member of the Tennessee Solar Energy Industries Association, where he has led efforts to reform solar energy siting and tax policy in Tennessee.

He previously served as Nashville’s first-ever director of environment and sustainability for Mayor Karl Dean’s administration, advising the mayor on a range of environmental issues and overseeing several mayoral initiatives, including the design and successful launch of the mayor’s residential energy efficiency program, Nashville Energy Works and the creation of Nashville’s first open space master plan in partnership with the Land Trust for Tennessee.

FirstBank strengthens commercial banking

FirstBank has added Stuart Hunter to its commercial banking team as vice president and relationship manager.

Hunter has more than 17 years of experience, most recently as vice president at Medquity. He moved to Nashville 17 years ago after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in public administration and economics. Hunter is involved with the Nashville Healthcare Council and Leadership Healthcare.

Wealth Strategies Partners adds music industry executive

Wealth Strategies Partners, a boutique wealth management practice, has added Trey Allen as the practice’s business development leader.

In this role, Allen drives growth and fosters innovation while developing strategic relationships across the music industry. He is a graduate of Belmont University with a degree in music business.

He previously founded and managed Sunday Supper Group, a boutique agency offering artist and producer management and label services. He also has been a tour manager and has worked with The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Widespread Panic, MGMT, My Morning Jacket and Leon Bridges. He also previously held roles at Bill Graham Presents and Shoreline Amphitheater.

MNAA announces promotions, additions

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority is marking the accomplishments of several individuals and announcing additions to the leadership team at Nashville International Airport and John C. Tune Airport.

The individuals listed below have taken on the following key leadership roles:

Executive leadership

• Robert Ramsey, executive vice president, is transitioning from chief operating officer to chief development officer. He will lead airport planning, airport capital development, the New Horizon Program and Terminal II. Ramsey is a Professional Engineer, an Accredited Airport Executive and an International Airport Professional who served eight years in the United States Air Force as an officer in multiple squadron leadership roles. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Military Institute and a master’s in engineering management from the University of Missouri at Rolla.

• Adam Floyd, senior vice president & chief operating officer, previously served as vice president of operations. In his new role, he will be at the helm of the operations, facilities maintenance, environmental and safety, public safety, information technology and customer service at both BNA and JWN. Before joining MNAA, Floyd served 21 years in the United States Coast Guard leading law enforcement, intelligence and search and rescue operations. He holds a degree in intelligence studies from American Military University, a master’s in executive leadership from Liberty University and is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives.

• Eric Johnson, senior vice president & chief revenue officer, brings more than 30 years of aviation experience, transitioning from the Metropolitan Airports Commission at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Johnson will oversee concessions, advertising, real estate and property management. Additionally, he will manage lease compliance for BNA’s new on-site Hilton hotel. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in business administration.

Vice presidents

• Adam Bouchard, vice president, operations, is overseeing airside, landside and terminal operations, along with guest services, safety and parking. Previously, Bouchard served as vice president of operations at Tampa International Airport and held various leadership roles at the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority for nearly nine years. Bouchard holds a degree in aviation business administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s degree from Penn State University. He is a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society of the United Kingdom and a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

• Daniel B. Brown, vice president, facility management, has been instrumental in ensuring safe and quality maintenance operations at MNAA since November 2021. Brown supervises over 95 MNAA employees and 300 contractors, overseeing maintenance, environmental and safety functions at both BNA and JWN airports. He served in the United States Air Force 1998-2006, holds a degree in aeronautics and a master’s in aeronautics with an aviation operations management focus, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Assistant vice president

• Ted Morrissey, assistant vice president, associate general counsel, was previously assistant general counsel. He joined MNAA in August 2014 as legal counsel. Morrissey holds a degree from The University of the South and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Directors

• Jennifer Coulter, director, safety management systems, previously held roles as senior safety officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, state safety oversight officer for all passenger rail in Tennessee and global environmental program manager for Amazon, accumulating over 10 years of safety experience. She holds a degree in environmental biology from Tennessee Technological University.

• Jeffrey Greco, director, facilities maintenance, joined MNAA in February 2024 as the director of facilities maintenance. He previously served as a Naval flight officer in the EA-18G Growler aircraft. His most recent assignment was commanding officer (senior executive) of the Nashville Navy Reserve Center. Greco holds a master’s degree in diplomacy from Norwich University and a degree in logistics and intermodal transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

• Ben Dearman, who joined MNAA in April 2021 as the accounting manager of operations & maintenance, has been promoted to the role of director of budget and treasury.

• Aaron Flake, who joined MNAA in March 2023 as assistant director of operations - business and strategy, has been promoted to director of parking and ground transportation - business strategy from his previous position as assistant director.

• Michael Glazer, who joined the MNAA team in May 2022 as assistant director of landside and terminal operations, has been promoted to the role of director of terminal operations.

• Jennifer Swallows has been promoted from assistant director to director of parking and ground transportation.

• Adam Wolf, who joined MNAA as the assistant director of airside operations in February 2023, has been promoted to the role of director of airside operations.

NAMI hires executive director for Davidson County

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Davidson Co., a Nashville-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with mental illness and their families throughout Middle Tennessee, has named Sherilyn Duckworth, Ph.D., as its executive director.

A behavioral health manager and public health researcher, Duckworth takes the helm of NAMI Davidson Co. following the retirement of Robin Nobling, who led the organization for more than a decade.

Duckworth is a suicide attempt survivor and passionate mental health and suicide prevention advocate, which has included founding the nonprofit, A Friend of Mind, where she led suicide prevention training for thousands of adults and adolescents.

She previously served as the executive director for the public health organization, Immunize Nevada, which she led during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, she serves as a disaster preparedness and crisis response facilitator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Duckworth holds a doctorate in health education and promotion with an emphasis on health behavior, as well as a master’s in public health in health care organization and policy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also is a graduate of the University of West Alabama.
