Grant Writing Workshop for Nonprofits. Join Maury Alliance and the Spring Hill Chamber for a comprehensive grant-writing workshop for nonprofits. Patrick McElhiney, director of grants at Columbia State, will provide an overview of the grant-writing process and equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully secure funding. Some of the topics covered include researching and identifying funding opportunities, understanding grant guidelines and requirements, planning and research, proposal development, grant submission, proposal follow-up and implementation.
