Lunch and Learn: Preserving the Landscape-Fort Cass and the Trail of Tears

Amy M. Kostine, programs manager for the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University, will examine the roundup process of the removal through the lens of the Fort Cass emigrating depot in Tennessee and efforts to preserve and interpret the Trail of Tears in recent years. Tennessee State Museum, 1000 Rosa Parks Blvd. Noon-1 p.m. You may bring your own lunch or order a boxed lunch made by Apple Spice Nashville. Purchase price- $12.24. The lunches will include a sandwich, chips and a cookie. Lunch orders must be placed by noon Nov. 14. Order your boxed lunch on the registration page. Information
