MURFREESBORO (AP) — Middle Tennessee saw over 12,500 postings for jobs in health care technology last year. That's according to a report released Thursday by Middle Tennessee State University and the Greater Nashville Technology Council.

A news release from the school says the report found app development was the most in-demand health care technology job. It also found the demand for health care technology workers overall grew steadily in recent years.

The report is part of the Middle Tennessee Tech research program. Its goal is to provide industry, economic development and academic audiences with data on the current state of the Middle Tennessee technology workforce.
