NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee lawmakers got a brief look at Gov. Bill Lee's legislative agenda, which proposes to reform criminal justice and to loosen some licensure regulations.

House Majority Leader William Lamberth told House Republicans on Monday the governor's agenda has 32 bills for this year's legislative agenda.

Lamberth disclosed only brief details about the bills, explaining Lee will offer more insight during his State of the State address next week.

However, Lamberth says 10 of Lee's agenda bills are simply housekeeping items. Other items have already been announced, including Lee's proposed $40 million initiative to fund more school resource officers and a proposal to create a statewide vocational and technical training program.

A possible voucher-like bill was not mentioned. Lee had previously said he's still weighing his options on that issue.
