A Vintage Affair Grape Stomp Festival

Teams compete to collect the most juice at the end of a four-minute stomp and earn a spot in the finals, where the top three teams will compete to be the Grape Stomp champion. Members of the winning team will receive a half of a case of wine as reward for their stomping talent. T-shirts or creative costumes are strongly encouraged, and there will be awards for best costumes throughout the event. The cost to sponsor a team of five is $500, and up to 30 teams will be assembled. Those wishing to enjoy the event from the sidelines may purchase general admission tickets for $50. Breakfast for Progress

The inaugural event will include a keynote address from Donald Stinnett, senior vice president and controller of HCA. HCA, Maurice Pinson and Patricia W. Wallace will be honored at the breakfast for their important contributions to the mission of the organization. Malli Hart Richmond and Jane Hart Keesee serve as honorary chairs. Progress has been serving the Nashville area for more than 40 years and provides a variety of services to people with intellectual disabilities and seniors.
