The Founders, the Evolution of America and the Road to Civil War

The Battle of Franklin Trust will kick off its free lecture series at 6 p.m. in the Fleming Center. CEO Eric Jacobson and Franklin Civil War Roundtable founder Greg Wade will lead the discussion. Jacobson, with Wade facilitating, will discuss how America transformed from the time of its founding to the mid-19th century and ultimately why the country spiraled toward Civil War.
