Home-Staging Professional Course. Students can earn the ASP designation by attending this two-day course Aug. 14-15. Topics covered include improving your listing presentation, overcoming client objections to staging, marketing ideas and a staging techniques detailed lecture. Students will also view a slide show of before and after photos of what can be accomplished through staging and experience staging a home on the market with other class participants. After taking the course, agents will be able to market staging to their clients and provide better suggestions of ways to improve the home for listing presentation. 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, 4540 Trousdale Drive. Nashville Business Breakfast
Jim Wright, chairman and chief executive officer for Tractor Supply Company (TSC), will be the featured speaker at Lipscomb University’s Nashville Business Breakfast at 7 a.m. in Allen Arena. Wright joined TSC as president and chief operating officer in November 2000. In 2004 he was named CEO and was appointed chairman in 2007.
