Carrie’s Crawfish Boil
The Battle of Franklin Trust launches the inaugural event with all proceeds to benefit the trust. The casual, family-friendly crawfish boil will be held 1-3 p.m. at Carnton Plantation, 1345 Eastern Flank Circle in Franklin. Guests can look forward to yard games, live music by Boy Named Banjo and a free vintage baseball game in the Carnton Plantation field. Nashville Wine and Food Festival
Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in the area located directly behind the Nashville Farmers Market from 12-4 p.m. and will benefit the Nashville Symphony. Participants will gather to enjoy 150+ top-notch wines from over 30 of the country’s premier wineries paired with delicious bites from some of Nashville’s top restaurants. In addition to great wines and food, this festival also seeks to educate attendees and will feature food demonstrations from local chefs and wine seminars by winemakers from all over the country. The event will serve as a more intimate affair where consumers can interact with chefs, wine makers and food artisans. And we are in Nashville...so of course there will be plenty of live music! The event will feature great local bands performing at various locations throughout the festival. Additional festival highlights include a Beer Garden, cocktail lounge, local vendors, and much more! Capitol District Street Fair
A one-day outdoor music and community celebration with food, lawn games, music and local vendors located in Morgan Park in the heart of Germantown, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Capitol District is a proud partner of Tour de Nash, Nashville’s largest urban bike ride –which will start and finish at Capitol District Street Fair.
