The Grub Crawl is in its fifth year and second time in Nashville. Join some of Nashville’s top chefs in the kitchen and friends at the table for a day of great food, drink, music and entertainment. The day crawl in 12South begins with the kick-off party at Urban Grub, then moves to Epice, The Flipside and Josephine. The night crawl in Germantown begins at Rolf and Daughters and moves to 5th & Taylor, Cochon Butcher and Barista Parlor. Hallowed Ground: Lantern Tour of the Stone River National Cemetery
Stories taken from letters and diaries of the men who fought and died in the Civil War will be presented this summer at the Stones River National Battlefield. Join a park ranger for an hour-long walk by lantern light through the Stones River National Cemetery. Visitors will learn to look beyond the stones and into the stories of the men and women who felt the impact of war. Scheduled dates in addition to June 4 are June 18 and July 9 at 7:45 p.m. Free event but reservations are required and may be made beginning the Monday prior to the tour. Call 893-9501.
