39th annual Tennessee Prayer Breakfast. The Citizens Committee will host the event today at Lipscomb University. Gov. Bill Haslam and his wife Crissy are the keynote speakers. Dove award winner Nicole C. Mullen and the Nashville Choir will also be featured at the breakfast. 7-8:30 a.m., in Allen Arena. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. Tickets are $35 each or $350 for a table of 10 and may be purchased at tennesseeprayerbreakfast.org.

Brentwood City Commission Candidates Forum

The Williamson County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a forum featuring the six candidates running for Brentwood City Commission. Commissioners seeking re-election are Mayor Paul Webb, Regina Smithson and Rhea Little. New candidates seeking election are Jason Richardson, Jay Galbreath and Mark Gorman. Continental breakfast and coffee will be provided. This forum is open to all Chamber members and the general public. 8-9:30 a.m., Brentwood United Methodist Church 309 Franklin Road, Brentwood.

Cheekwood’s Highballs & Hydrangeas

High-end cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from the following Nashville Originals’ member restaurants: Noshville, Pucketts, Bound’ry, Copper Kettle, McCabe Pub, The Pineapple Room, Crow’s Nest, Sunset Grill, Midtown Café, Cabana, Nero’s Grill, Yellow Porch and Wild Iris. Robertson County Spring Up

The Robertson County Health Council presents a family 5k walk along the Greenway at J. Travis Price Park, kite flying, inflatables and vendors.
