Women’s Work Festival

Tennessee Women’s Theater Project returns to the Looby Theater with its seventh annual Women’s Work festival of performing and visual arts created by women. The festival cuts a broad swath across styles and genres to offer 10 completely different programs: poetry and essays; one-woman shows; new plays including a world premiere commissioned by the company; dance, music, film and a display of visual art works in the theater lobby. 2301 Rosa L. First Saturday Art Crawl

The monthly visual arts event is presented by 5th Avenue of the Arts and takes place in that historic entertainment district of downtown Nashville. On the first Saturday of every month, 6 p.m.-9 p.m., an alliance of art galleries and museums collectively invite the public to explore the vibrant Nashville downtown art scene. Lebanon Breakfast Rotary Fish Fry & Aviation Heritage Day

An opportunity to learn about Lebanon’s aviation history, with a display of vintage and current aircraft. Proceeds benefit the Lebanon Breakfast Rotary to support organizations/groups including Joseph’s Storehouse Food Ministry, Lebanon Youth Soccer Association, Sherry’s Run, Wilson Books from birth, scholarships for local students to attend Cumberland University & more. Friends of Historic Lebanon

Membership dinner for everyone interested in preserving Lebanon’s unique history and architecture. Dr. Carroll Van West, director of the Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University, co-chair of the Tennessee Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission and director of the Tennessee Civil War national Heritage Area, is the guest speaker.
