Predators Foundation Wine Festival & Tasting. The event includes more than 200 wines, spirits and brews as well as hors d’oeuvres. Plus, a silent auction featuring Predators memorabilia and exclusive packages. A VIP option is available including a five-course dinner with wine pairings. All proceeds benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation, which supports Middle Tennessee nonprofit groups and programs in the community. Thursday, 6-10 p.m., Bridgestone Arena. THURSDAY, APRIL 2

Mayoral Forum

The Tennessee Education Report and the Hillsboro PTSO will host a mayoral forum, 6:30 p.m. at Hillsboro High School. The forum will focus on the future of Nashville’s education and will include questions submitted by the Hillsboro High School Student Government.

Street Food Thursday

A gathering of 15 to 20 local food trucks parked along Deaderick Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th Avenue North. This event will take place every other Thursday through the fall.

SATURDAY, APRIL 4

Eggstravaganzoo

The spring festival at Nashville Zoo boasts the largest egg hunts in town. New this year is Twiga’s Sweet Stroll, a candy-themed wonderland with edible bubbles, photo opportunities and large-scale candy structures. 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Information: www.nashvillezoo.org.

YP Nashville Mayoral Forum

Candidates Megan Barry, Charles Robert Bone, Linda Eskind Rebrovick, David Fox, Bill Freeman, Howard Gentry and Jeremy Kane are scheduled to attend. Ralph Schulz, president and CEO of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, will moderate. 3:30-5 p.m., Nashville Public Library Auditorium, 615 Church Street, Nashville.

Nashville Fashion Week

The week will kick off with the Nashville Designer Showcase at Acme Feed & Seed and end with the Second annual Fashion Forward Gala at The Rosewall. Several industry awards are being added to the Gala programming this year, including the “Fashion Retailer of the Year.” Proceeds from all Nashville Fashion Week events benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, an endowed fund established to support the next generation of fashion industry professionals with ties to Middle Tennessee by providing financial award and resources for experiential professional development opportunities. Davidson County Democratic Party Spring Breakfast and Fundraiser

Chamber North Quarterly Meeting

One in a series of quarterly meetings specifically for North Nashville businesses to discuss growth and activities, including public safety and traffic/transportation. This year’s self-guided tour showcases living spaces within older, historic and rehabbed residential buildings.
