Mule Day Celebration
An annual celebration of all things related to mules held in Columbia, the “Mule Capital.” Begun in 1840 as “Breeder’s Day,” a meeting for mule breeders, it now attracts more than 200,000 people and takes place over four days. In addition to mules, traditional Appalachian food, music, dancing and crafts are featured. Information

Leadership Gallatin Mixer: Reconnect + Recruit
Leadership Gallatin offers participants who work, serve and/or live in Gallatin an insider view of the city. Through an eight-month program, participants will become deeply aware of local needs, opportunities and attractions in the Gallatin area. The Mulehouse Outdoor Music Party
The Mulehouse is transforming its backlot into a mega music party featuring multi-platinum headliner Chris Janson and rising star Shane Profitt. The festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. and promise to hype all the senses with incredible live music, food trucks, a beer garden, multiple bars and exclusive Mulehouse Party merchandise for purchase. General admission $39, available at Mulehouse.com. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Saturday the music resumes as Mule Day ends. At 12:30 p.m. local favorite bands take the stage: Reeves Bros, Wentzel Bros, Yonder Grove and Buck Sixx. Food trucks, a beer garden, multiple bars, cornhole, and Mulehouse Party merchandise. Sip of History
Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage and the Tennessee Whiskey Trail present an afternoon of whiskey, wine and beer samples on the grounds of The Hermitage that you and your dog will love. Each ticket includes a photo of your pet from Wendy Jo Photo, as well as access to The Hermitage grounds, 1,120 acres, including a historic garden, wildlife, walking paths, historical markers and more.
