21st Annual Spring Art Hop

More than 20,000 eggs will be hidden throughout the gardens of Cheekwood for the 21st annual Spring Art Hop. Easter egg hunts will take place every half hour throughout the day. There also will be musical performances from Eve and Mare, Nashville Jazz Workshop and Rachel Sumner. Art and craft activities will be offered throughout the day in Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall. Face painters, balloon artists and the Easter Bunny will also be featured. 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

15TH Annual Eggstravanganzoo

Egg hunting, games and animal exploration at the 15th annual Eggstravaganzoo at the Nashville Zoo. More than 40,000 plastic eggs will be distributed on the Zoo’s Festival Field for 10 scheduled hunts held throughout the day. Participants can redeem their eggs for prizes. There also will be a Zoo-wide hunt for larger, golden eggs also redeemable for prizes. 5th Annual Native Plant Sale

The Native Plant Sale, hosted by the Garden Club of Nashville, benefits the Howe Garden at Cheekwood. The one-day-only sale inside Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall and features more than 50 varieties of plants, including wild ginger, Virginia bluebells and celandine poppies, as well as an assortment of select native shrubs and flowering trees. 10 a.m. until all plants are sold. Grammy-winning artist and Nashville resident Sheryl Crow will headline the Music City Center grand opening and free outdoor concert on May 20. Performing with Crow will be The Time Jumpers, Vince Gill, the Fisk Jubilee Singers and Mikky Ekko. The concert is set for 6-9 p.m., followed by fireworks. A free open house will take place both Sunday and Monday.
