Appalachian Road Show

Appalachian Road Show is a visionary acoustic ensemble, bringing new-generation interpretations of traditional Americana, bluegrass and folk songs, as well as offering innovative original music, all presented with a common thread tied directly to the heart of the Appalachian regions of the United States. Performance take place in the Kenneth & Ramona Cherry Theater, located in the Waymon L. Hickman Building, Columbia State. 1665 Hampshire Pike, Columbia. 7-9 p.m., doors open 6:30 p.m. Information

Goodwill Wedding Gown Weekend

Goodwill stores across Middle and West Tennessee will offer wedding dresses for as little as $49.99 during the local nonprofit’s Wedding Gown Weekend. Sale merchandise includes gently used bridal dresses and formal gowns donated by individuals, as well as new-with-tags stock donated by local bridal shops. All gowns will be priced at less than $300. Each of the 29 stores will have at least 20 gowns available, while supplies last. 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Information
