PACT Act Veterans Resource Fair
VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System will host at 503 East Bell Street in Murfreesboro, 2-6 p.m. The PACT Act, passed in 2022, expands VA health care and benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange and other toxic substances. Cheatham County Democrats County Convention
The Cheatham County Democratic Party will hold ITS Convention in the McCullough Community Room at 334 Frey Avenue (Sycamore Square). The purpose is to choose county “selectors” who will move on to help elect Tennessee’s delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Doors open at 11 a.m., and registration will close at noon. Participants must be registered to vote in Cheatham County and must have voted in this year’s Democratic presidential primary (last day March 5). Democrats who intend to run for national convention delegate must have filed a Declaration of Candidacy by March 7 at www.tndp.org/delegateselecton.
