This year’s celebration will feature seven bands, two stages and Nashville’s longest fireworks show on New Year’s Eve. As in past years, a Music Note drop at the stroke of midnight will usher in 2016. Kings of Leon will headline the free concert. The Nashville-based band will be joined by Chris Stapleton, CMA-nominated Kelsea Ballerini, Sugar & The Hi-Lows, The Whigs, Wild Cub and LANco. Music will start at 6 p.m. and go past midnight. New features this year include seven bands, the most ever for Nashville’s New Year’s Eve concert, two stages, tallest Music Note drop (145-feet tall, compared to 125 feet last year), more confetti and longest fireworks show (five minutes).
