Downtown Employee Appreciation Week. The week will be dedicated to celebrating the more than 55,000 downtown employees with a series of activities throughout the central business district. Musicians Corner

A series of free music events at Centennial Park. Events will take place from noon-5 p.m. on the 25th Avenue side of Centennial Park near the band shell. In addition to music, each date features Kidsville, a mix of Nashville’s best food trucks, Dogville, local artisans, featured charity partners and the Musicians Corner Pub. Dates and performers:

Young Leaders Council 30th Anniversary Celebration Dinner

Phil Bredesen, former Tennessee Governor and Nashville mayor, will be the featured speaker. Bredesen also is the author of “Fresh Medicine: How to Fix Reform and Build a Sustainable Health Care System” and is a frequent speaker to national audiences on health care, political leadership and other topics.
