FINN Partners has promoted Lisa Button and Andrea Lindsley to senior partners in recognition. Button and Lindsley lead the fast-growing Community Impact Group in the Southeast, along with senior partner Philip McGowan.

2. Nichols joins Meharry as senior vice president -

Michelle Nichols, M.D., M.S., MBA, FAAFP, has been named as senior vice president of clinical affairs Meharry Medical College. Nichols will lead Meharry’s clinical enterprise, collaborating with the college’s clinicians and overseeing its graduate medical education programs. She will spearhead efforts to advance health equity and reduce disparities among those in underserved communities.

3. Stites & Harbison elects 3 to management committee -

Stites & Harbison, PLLC recently elected three members to the firm’s six-member management committee, replacing three attorneys who completed their terms of service. The new committee members are Erika Barnes of Nashville and Carol Dan Browning and Richard Wehrle of Louisville. The members rotating off the committee include attorneys Janet Craig and Mandy Wilson Decker (Lexington) and Marjorie Farris (Louisville). The new committee members will serve a two-year term.

4. Tornadoes devastate Tennessee, killing at least 22 people -

NASHVILLE (AP) — Rescuers searched through shattered Tennessee neighborhoods for bodies Tuesday, less than a day after tornadoes ripped across Nashville and other parts of the state as families slept. At least 22 people were killed, some in their beds, authorities said.
