The Dearborn, Michigan, automaker said Monday it hired Peter Stern, who was Apple's vice president of services. He'll be president of Ford Integrated Services, a unit that will combine software and hardware into services.

In case anyone’s keeping stats, Senate leadership soundly defeated House leadership this session in the gas tax/tax cut battle.

Whether this is a forerunner to a Republican gubernatorial primary remains to be seen as Senate Majority Leader Mark Norris and House Speaker Beth Harwell weigh decisions. 36. Last Land Rover Defender rolls off production lines in UK -

LONDON (AP) — The last Land Rover Defender, the famed 4x4 off-road vehicle that has been made for almost seven decades, has rolled off the production line in Britain.

More than two million of the boxy vehicles have been produced at the plant over the past 68 years, and fans range from farmers to Queen Elizabeth II, who has been photographed driving them over the decades.
